SEO対策の変遷
インターネット上で商売をしている人やアフィリエイトでお金を儲けようとしている人、あるいはブログなどのコミュニティーで少しでも多くの人に訪問して欲しい人など、近年のインターネットにおける集客、訪問者数の増加は、一般人から法人まで需要の幅が広がっています。インターネットが商売になる、お金を得るために利用できるということは、インターネットの創世記には既に語られてはいましたが、ここまで多くの人がそのことに対して積極的に取り組むということは、当時は想定していなかったでしょう。
今や、インターネットにおいてどれだけ多くの人に足を運んでもらうかということは、一つの分野として研究されています。
マーケットにおける宣伝・広告の手法として、ある意味それ自体が一つのビジネス形態となりつつあるくらいです。
そして、その中心を担うのが「SEO対策」と呼ばれる方法論です。
SEO対策とは、検索エンジン最適化のことです。
ビックキーワードやロングテールなど、SEOにはいくつかの種類がありますが、基本的には「検索エンジンで少しでも上位の結果にサイトが表示されるようにするための創意工夫、方法全般」を指します。
SEO対策を行うことによって、サイトに多くの人が集まるようになるのです。
SEO対策の方法は、時代と共に変わってきています。
昔は単純に、少しでも検索されやすいキーワードをそのサイトに散りばめるなどというものが主な手法でした。
しかし、今はそういった方法だけではなく、ロングテールなどの様々な手法が試されています。
